Carson would freely admit it to anyone who asked. In fact, he would often volunteer the information if they didn’t.

Yay! Aw, Carson - yes, I can totally see that as the explanation for what he's doing there. *g* And it's a lot of fun to read young(er) Janet - we only ever see her as Doctor Frasier, head of SGC medical department, second only to God - it's adorable to see her as a student. Still as bright, but not yet as assured.

(And I love the fact that this comm has an honest-to-god doctor writing the medical stories. *g*)

btw, I keep forgetting to ask - I've uncovered that HPI stands for History of Present Illness (I presume that's right?), but what does O/E stand for?

HPI is History of Presenting Illness

O/E is on examination.

That's the shorthand I use when I'm taking a medical hstory. Well done for figuring it out (after noone asked on the first story, I thought it was going to take a bit longer!)

And it's too cute seeing her as a doctor-in-the-making, not yet sure of herself and her decisions. But still getting it right, heh.

Bless Carson as well, being able to take the students suggestion of board.
