Balsa wood. It's light, cheap and somewhat bendable (though too much can cause it to snap). Otherwise, go to a hardware store and look around. ;P

My tutor said my idea and manipulation is excellent but the crafting and design is terrible and worse than last week's project ... I was sooooo pissed off ...

your project sounds more complicated than my essay for australian media - im writing an essay about a topic, where the name of this topic isnt even a real word: Australianness.
