so very heartwarming. points is one of my favourite episodes just because we start to get comfy with the idea of these men as they might be at home, as opposed to soldiers. and because of winters swimming, but hey. that's a given.

The point of view is what gets me the most, really. It's so unique and flawlessly executed...it makes me squee something fierce.
Dick swearing was the greatest thing in the world. It broke me into pieces because...it was such a small thing. He knows exactly how to get to Nix, and it's just one of those little details that make the relationship even more interesting. Facets--gotta love 'em when they shine.
*shakes head* That's it, I give up--I've officially stopped resisting the Winnix shipping. Not my OTP...but damn if you all don't write it so well that I just wanna die.

And I enjoy making Dick swear, having it be a personal project of Nixon's to corrupt him somehow. That, of course, is just ONE of the ways. -cackle-
w00t! another convert! thanks so much for the review, it warms me something fierce <3

However that over-used joke goes. *facepalms* And I doubt your OTP's dad could beat mine--Pennsylvanian farmer and New Jersy businessman vs two guys from South Philly? Psh. I know who I'D be bettin' for in that fight.
With BoB, I think first/second person works well because half the episodes are narrated by one of the characters ANYWAY...so we're all pretty used to some outside voice telling us what's going on.
