Last night was a wonderful holiday party with Commietown friends William, James, Matt, latidah, kangakazoo, emmyray85, and stroudsterb. Today I got in the last bits of my IBS application, checked out the Rose Art Museum, and went out with ABSK people for Mayflower Chinese food and "Pursuit of Happiness" (with Will Smith) at the Fresh Pond Loews. It's the best feeling ever!! I went out with some CGX friends to Sushi Yasu in Waltham for some Dumpling Soup, Vegetable Tempura, and Bulgogi, followed by Coffee Oreo ice cream at Lizzie's. Now I can just chill out and have fun with whoever's still around until Saturday . . . sweet!! And now that there's finally time . . .

But all is well! It is really nice to have this break now, since this semester is so hard! Just a quick update since I haven't posted for a bit! The econometrics exam of doom was pretty bad--I got a 55, 10 points below the class average :-P Hopefully I will ace the final! As for the Japanese midterm, it came back today and it was a 93 which is pretty cool! A few spelling mistakes/mishearing during the oral part, but otherwise it was ( Read more... )

Now I've finally got some more free time, so the next round of China pics can go up, hurrah! The first month of senior year is done now, and it was fun but tough, especially since last Friday there were two econ problem sets due and also Japanese and Chinese vocab quizzes!! Classes are going pretty well so far, though it's very busy since I have Advanced Chinese, Beginning Japanese, Intro to East Asian Civilizations, The Samurai, International Trade Theory, and Econometrics!
