I did something at work completely out of character and i spoke with my manager a few weeks ago about a raise and he laughed at me. My manager said it was impossible which is a lie. today i sat down with him again and reiterated that i think i deserve a raise stated the reasons why and listened intently as he in more words told me to fuck off.
