You're probably right. I talked for a while about getting a Chinchilla, but I think I'm going to wait a while. A long while.

I know it's hard losing a pet and I can sympathise with you, I'm pretty sure Bro can too.

It's good to wait but only when you're ready. I wonder if there was something wrong with their food? water? did they eat something they weren't suppose to?

Their food's been fine. I tossed all of my old food when Sorin died. And the water's not affect my cat (or Darby's, while it was here) or the fish. I've just no idea what's gone wrong, or why it's taken so long to hit Chi.

I've switched her from dry food to bits of baby carrots and parsley as of..five minutes ago. I'm hoping against hope that maybe that will help.

I just wish I knew what was wrong.

I also know firsthand (via the phone) that you were a wonderful mother to Sorin. None of these occurances were your fault, and I'm sure they passed on knowing they had one hell of a mother.
