Basically, I never tend to agree with or like ANY of the same "films" as people who study film, generally speaking, but I'm curious, what are your top 5 or 10 film makers? And films?

Hah oh good, I began to make a comment concerning Quentin Tarantino and then I realized I didn't know if you even liked him. I've mentioned this before, but have you seen the tv show Iconoclast on the Sundance Channel? If you haven't seen the one with him and Fiona Apple, I have it on dvd, we should watch it next time you come over.

Interesting, I do like some of those films, but they probably wouldn't be on my tops. I have noticed that I like the way Quentin Tarantino thinks and the way Cameron Crowe conveys things, and the clear musical associations. I like Tim Burton's style. I am just beginning to pay more attention to who makes films I like. I deifnately like feels that invoke certain feelings in me rather than analyzing HOW the film was made. But yea, the whole subject still fascinates me.
