At the pet store where I bought Tommy, there is a cat in the window that is clearly his sister, Trixie. Tommy was abandoned by his family. Trixie and Tommy look the same and are the same age. And their names sound the same.

I feel it is my duty to buy Trixie, but someone says I can't have any more cats. Hmph.

I told Kristen the same thing, but we decided that I could bring it home until we found a permanent home for him. And guess where elgeneralito is, seven months later!

Seriously, siblings being separated makes me sad. If they are the same age, and the other is still in the pet store, what if no one buys it and it is taken to a shelter and *put to sleep*? Do you want to be responsible for killing your kitten's sibling? I don't think so. Come on, it's christmas and all!

what does greta think of all this? and if you can't keep the kitty, perhaps your ma or pa would enjoy a bit of fuzzy cuteness for the holidays??
