question: how do i get in touch with the local police or with the belfast town court to ask them what indeed i owe for a ticket

you could prolly just call them.. thats what i did:) but then, i still forgot to pay the ticket!...there's prolly not a warrent yet, its only been a day. but its prolly coming...i would say call the local police, they will at least tell you where to go next. but .... i only have experiance with GA cops...NY might be different....what ever you do..do get sent to jail! haha . its not fun!...and hugs...i know this kinda thing sucks....

dude, i've already been to jail over this stuff, it's not too bad, but my suggestion, is that you should just send in the ticket stub and plead guilty, you have a Pa license so all you get is a fine, it doesn't even go on your license.
