Work - round two
Today (or heck the rest of the week) can't get any worse than yesterday was. Talk about a total f**k up! And yes I admit that I did screw up, but my screw up was very minor - I should have turned the issue over to our customer service unit from the get go, my bad! I'll admit that I'm usually a little leery of shows/movies that are remakes of something - for me they tend to be slightly better than cover songs, and well those that know me know how much I HATE cover songs. So I was a bit leery when I heard they were remaking V - I LOVED this mini-series and series when it aired in the 80s.

House
The more time I spend in the new house the more I'm totally loving it. It's enough space that you're not closed in or on top of each other but small enough that it's not this huge monster that has to be cared for. And right now the nicest thing? Daddy comes over once a week to mow the lawn for us. :) Now that'll change when I get a mower near ( Read more... ) -

The end of an emotionally exhausting day
Today was the memorial service for my grandfather. It was very well done. Lots and lots of tears shed during the services, plenty of them from me. Many funny stores shared afterwards. Nice final tribute as cousins, sisters and aunts sat on the front porch at the 4th Street house people/driver watching, something we all use to do with our ( Read more... ) -
