[CR] Have your muse give an order. Is that order obeyed correctly?

Giving out orders was just one of the perks of being team leader. Jack loved it. He prided himself on knowing what needed to be done and how it should be done.

Of course, it would be better for the planet if his team trusted his judgment more frequently than they did.

"Don't taunt the Weevil."
"Don't have sex with the prisoner."
"Don't mess with the Rift Manipulator."
"Owen, stop taunting the weevil!!"
"DON'T. OPEN. THE. RIFT."
"Just...don't."

Sometimes, they refused to listen. Jack could usually sense impending rebellions. If they had too much time to think about an order or a plan, they got a little testy. Yes, his plans were a little extreme at times, and occasionally sacrifices had to be made, but his plans worked more often than not. Oh no, that wasn't good enough for them. They wanted alternatives. They wanted the win-win situation. Bad idea.

There wasn't aways time to explain or argue about the best approach. Someone had to make a decision and as leader, he called the shots. Since they were most likely to disobey when they had time, Jack resorted to giving them no time. No time to think. No time to question. It was pretty much do it his way or face some horrible, and typically, deadly outcome.

What's that? An ancient demon from the underworld is about to take out downtown Cardiff?

"Yes, Jack."
"Yes, Sir!"

Europe is about to be sucked into a giant spinning vortex doom?

"Of course, Jack!"
"Whatever you say, sir!"

They always did listen best when the pressure was on.
