After going back and forth and back and forth and over and over again every hour of every day these past few weeks, I believe I have come to a decision (although who knows how it will change by Monday): I will decline my acceptance into the Cairo spring program next year

Future sight is more a curse then a gift, in my opinion, as it would only allow you to foretell your doom, mostly likely making you panic and worry for the rest of your life, or ruin some wonderful suprise. Life's more fun when it's uncertain ;-)...

But to the point.. Im sorry to hear about this. I know you really wanted to visit egypt. My advice.. go with your gut. Your heart tells you what you desire, your head can reason, but your gut is the closest you can come to futuresight. Its your instincts. Trust your first instincts, they exist for a reason, all the rest is regret and hindsight, outcomes present in any choice. And like you said, you have plenty of time left ;-).
