tutorial #1: simple coloring / sophia bush

program used: photoshop CS

step01: first you take your base and you duplicate it twice.
               set both duplicated layers on screen.    view

step02: next you make a new layer.
               set this layer on exclusion and fill it with #090c46     view

step03: now you create TWO new layers.
               set both layers on color burn.
               fill the first layer with #fdc0c0
               fill the second layer with #bcf7fb              view

step04: now, duplicate your base.
               bring it to the top of all of your layers and set it on screen with 56%
               sharpen once and merge all of the layers.                                            view

step05: create a hue/saturation layer.
               put the settings on 4, -24, 5
               set the layer to overlay and with the opacity of 52%                     view

step06: you're almost done!
               duplicate your base and bring it to the top of your layers.
               go to IMAGE-> ADJUSTMENTS -> DESATURATE
               set the layer on soft light at 55%
               TA DA! YOU'RE DONE!

- this may not work for all images, so you might have to change the opacity a little for other images
