Since I last updated I've gone on a trip to the West of Ireland (Cliffs of Moher!) , opened an Irish bank account, missed the deadline for an assignment, and realized that I have about 4 things due by Friday at 5! Have I been working hard? Not at all! I just can't find the motivation. I can't shake the "vacation" feeling I have here

Here are some book news to go with the theme of your post: I went to Chapters today!! I had to buy Frankenstein for my "Health, Science and Society in literature" class. They were handing out 10% off coupons with purchase of 3 books so I also bought Persuasion (I didn't own a copy, can you believe it?? :O) and Franny and Zooey. I read the Catcher in the Rye in the summer and I liked it, and since I've heard Franny and Zooey was even better I went for it. But I know you've read both, so this isn't news to you

too late! I already read "memoirs of a geisha" - read it before the movie came out. I kind of liked it! It wasn't great... It had that "cold" feeling some books have where I can't connect with the characters (she SO should have gone for the ugly guy) ... but I think I just liked the historical aspects of it, it was interesting (/disturbing).
