Yep, it's that time again. It's close enough to the end of the year, right?

Having a baby born in your bathroom = WOW! That must have been magical. Weren't you afraid that something might come up and complicate things?

I'm glad your year turned out well in the end and that things (except Edith) sorted themselves up. And good luck with tossing the extra weight off in 2012!

Birth was very cool. There wasn't much worry about complications as the birth was attended by a very, very experienced midwife (she's delivered over 300 babies and before that, was an EMT for about a decade, so she's well-versed in not only birth, but in life-saving measures), and everything went smoothly. It was way more relaxed than the hospital births I've been present for (somehow I always end up the hand-holder in these things), and after a poor hospital experience with her first baby, I think K (my roommate) was thrilled with how things went. Seriously, if ever I have kids, it will happen in my house unless there's a very, very good medical reason for it not happening that way.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed about the weight thing. I know that I can do it, I've done it before, I just hate the first month or so, when, as I recall, I'll mostly be hungry and achy and cranky all the time. *tells self 'I can do it' repeatedly*

It definitely seems like you've had an exciting year, rl wise! Some years are just less fannish than others. I would have liked to see you writing more for my own selfish purposes, but don't beat yourself up.

I still can't get over that car accident. How scary.

I got a little freaked out when talk of moving in together and having babies started at only month two

LOLWUT. Who does that?

It's funny (sort of?), but I'm realizing that the times that I write the most are the times when things suck; writing becomes my escape. So... I guess it's a good thing that I've done minimal writing the last couple years? I mean, good for everything but my WIPs, anyway. I don't know. It's frustrating that the one thing that one of the things I love to do most, I'm almost incapable of doing in a timely fashion unless the rest of my life is falling apart.

LOLWUT. Who does that?

INORITE? It completely freaked me out. And when I tried to suggest just slowing things down, she informed me that she didn't really want to 'waste time'. O.o Yeah, that relationship was short-lived. Lol.

Great to read you had a good year and certainly better than the one before. I'm so happy for you on the own house thing; this is something that is seriously a milestone and life-changing.

Good luck with your exercise and diet regime; I believe you can do it because you chose a sound plan and you do not try to find magic instant solutions.

Have a wonderful year!

You can beat the weight thing, I know you can. #31 was spot on; there is nothing like having your own space.

Lol sounds like you had a great year!!

Nope. I did date someone for a little while, but I'll admit, I got a little freaked out when talk of moving in together and having babies started at only month two, and I bailed. Lol.

Oh come on! Everyone knows that we move in on the second date! It is in the rules and everything!! ;-)
