Awww Jackie! I'm sorry. I guess that some ferrets are more fragile than others. It was very hard seeing Tizzy sick and then die. I feel for you.

Whitey looked so much like Skitz does!

Apparently they get cancer very easily. We think that's probably what happened. From stuff I've been reading it's very common in ferrets, with one of the leading ferret Dr.'s calling them "cancer factories". We actually had a vet appointment for him tomorrow(Thursday). We called the vet last Tuesday pleading to get him in, but they said nothing untill Thursday the 30th. Sadly he didn't make it. But, we were almost positive that we were going to have to put him down anyways. Either way, very sad.
