This issue is vital. This post is great! l_rabbit October 19 2008, 18:23:20 UTC
Hear, Hear! and Amen! It is vitally important that Prop 8 be soundly defeated! I cannot accept how, once a human-rights law is won and on the books, it is so easy for the narrow-minded, medieval trolls to just take it away again. We must not let them do that! NO ON PROP 8! Thank ye kindly for posting this, Jackie. Luv, Leslie

NO on Prop 8! l_rabbit October 19 2008, 18:48:19 UTC
PS: I just received a card in the mail, addressed to Vote by Mail voters, that says, "COPS - Voter Guide Endorsed," on the front. An item in their "Guide" says, "8-Yes, Restore Traditionsl Marriage," as if traditional marriage was abolished by same-gender marriage being legal! This is a ploy the "right" uses often, implying that one law is canceled out by another. This is just not so. It also says, in part, "Cops know children raised by a married mother and father have the best chance for success." This has been shown to be a falsehood.
Everyone's got to register and vote! Tomorrow is the last day to register! Thank you in advance for helping!
