summary: Ian is diagnosed with cancer. In this chapter, Ian gets nostalgic, then discusses death with Kris. warnings: sadness, mild language, mentions of religion that are not meant to offend anyone at all. rating: pg-13
Wow. Honestly it's not just that this story is well written and has an interesting plot, no. It's actually quite real and beautiful. It has brilliant quotes and truthful meanings, and reality lessons for and in real life. Thank you for writing this.
Thank you so much! I honestly screamed a little bit when I read this, I was so flattered. I'm honestly speechless right now, this kind of made my day :)
I don't know why but at first, I didn't trust this Kris-person, but by now I enjoy their conversations. It's so relaxed, honest, free and actually, full os wisdom, truth and reality. I think this is just brilliant, congratz with such a fic.
Thank you, and trust me, it'll get much, much longer. And there will be some good Ian/Anthony moments in the future, but I usually think of this as more of a fic about Ian than Smosh. Don't worry, you'll see Anthony around!
I agree with Lazah. Kris' character is growing on me. He seems more trustworthy now than initially. I was definitely one of the people that did not like him at first.
I really love how truthful Ian is to how he is understanding and processing everything, and I think this discussion of death is a beautiful, vulnerable interpretation of the meaning in giving up one's life in terms of the human experience. Please keep on writing, and feel free to be elaborate, detailed, and lengthy with any and all parts of your story!
I also agree with thestoryliveson; it would be nice to see some more ian/anthony interaction. I get a great sense that Ian is very much alone. Maybe that's what you intend to write.
I'm glad Kris is growing on you! At first, Ian wasn't suspicious of Kris or anything, he was just skeptical about therapy in general, so I feel that has some influence on how everyone's been viewing him, but also just the way he spoke to Ian in the beginning threw everyone off. I'm just happy we're all starting to like him
