times square fosse queen

i lived for the last four days in times square, nyc. the most penetrating result of such a stay is utter disdain for all of humanity and it's convincing buying power (it's sick) which compels any and all useless industries to invade 20 sq. blocks and vomit all over them.

yeah, the first two things you learn in New York:

1. you aren't buying enough.
2. you aren't good enough.

Jesus. I am glad to have extended my PA break, but I'm pissed we missed each other YET AGAIN! Sounds like you were able to accurately dissect one area of the world that highlights the worst: times effin square.

i hate the insensitivity of people sometimes. i mean.... it's hard to remember that everyone is doing there best. really, really hard. sometimes, i just want to punch people in their faces. i am wondering when, oh when, will i reach that state of enlightened patience. you know.... that place where you have total control of your emotions and you know longer let other people's stupidity/insensitivity get on your nerves. oh lord, let it be soon!

i'm not sure we'll get there honey. on the bright side, it's healthy to have standards. and as long as there's a model of insensitivity/stupidity out there, then, against it, you can more clearly see the good in the people around you.
