Timeline reference post of postyness
So I don't have to look the bloody dates up every time somebody asks Harper what year he's from.
Andromeda canon goes alternatively by two date systems. CY (common year. I think) and AFC (Start date the year the Commonwealth fell, yes)
CY translates to AD as such:
6811 CY = 1885 AD and I'm going to assume same year length, so subtracting 4926 from CY gets you AD. ... this is the date the last of "Also Sprach Zarathustra" was published, yes. That said!

9766 CY/4840 AD: Magog attack Brandenburg Tor. nearly 3 billion dead.
9781 CY/4855 AD: Treaty of Anteres signed with the Magog. Nietzscheans pissed off and threaten to secede. They are talked down.
9784 CY/4858 AD: Nietzscheans secede (and had been planning it all along) from the Commonwealth starting a bloody civil war
9786 CY/4860 AD/1 AFC: Last battle of the civil war fought. Long Night begins
9797 CY/4871 AD/11 AFC: Wayism founded by a Magog (Called The Annointed) on Earth ... even so, Magog Wayists are really damn rare

10088 CY/5162 AD/302 AFC: Harper finds his way to Camp. (He will amend the date as time in Camp passes, just for his own personal reference. He thinks in CY/AFC, not AD. So right now his year is 10089 CY)
