So I had another encounter with the UK National Health Service (NHS) today. It’s all turning out to be one big jigsaw puzzle, i.e. the more appointments I go to with different specialists, the more I come to understand how the NHS works.

Meh! Incubus has just announced a postponement of their European tour due to a hand injury sustained by lead guitarist, Mike Einziger.

He's due for surgery any day now and will need 8-12 weeks for full recovery, so Tim and I won't get to see them play live as initially planned for the 12th of April. Ah well..

A few months ago, my perfectly-functioning, barely-a-year-and-a-half-old iPod started “hanging” randomly during use. There wasn’t any good explanation for it as I didn’t drop it on a hard surface, and it wasn’t a particular song/album which was causing it to freeze.
