Oho! I have found the “lost” unsecured wireless network again! Purely by accident, but we discovered it last week when I set up the laptop on our serving hatch by the kitchen. It was just supposed to be for referring to a recipe (cause we’re so high tech, haha) and next thing you know, we were connected to the same network we were stealing before. ( Read more... )

So another 2 broadband-less days have gone by, and here I am writing out my second “offline” post. I’ve scaled down on the frequency of checking for unsecured wireless networks over the past few days. Getting a little tired of the disappointment. Okay, I’m officially highly-annoyed with our broadband service provider. They seemed to be the most efficient of all the ones we considered signing up with, but they have utterly let me down. Okay, super-quick update before I run off for the weekend. Tim and I have decided to spend the night in our new flat tonight, instead of the original plan (which was for Sunday night). The past few days for us have been very activity-laden. It all began on Saturday morning when we actually gave up our sleep-in to skip over to Penny Kenton (our Estate Agent).
