Meet Clyde..

He's an ageing but feisty Shire horse (or Vanner as someone in the USA described him).  And yes.. both are sound descriptions as he has pulled the plough on a farm and is now used to ocasionally pull his owners Gypsy Caravan. I only wish he was, and yes It's me.

He lives with some friends just outside the village, they are wonderful people in their late 60's but do not ride or get out as much as they used to unless they take off with Clyde in the Caravan. I really must get a picture of it .. Its beautiful... Well they asked once if I would like to ride out, and I used to love riding so jumped at the chance. So whenever I get the chance Clyde and I go for a wander.

Oh I agree.. lucky as heck.. and I certainly dont take it for granted. They are very nice people and I am very fortunate to know them and have them as friends. Funny isnt it.. age means nothing.. it is the person that means something.
