On to the next venture

Now that the holiday madness is over, I have a proposition to make. Just who, out of the lot of you, has ever sailed on a ship? On that note, I've got good reason for wanting to know. Said reason may or may not have something to do with the idea of building a small ship, if you savvy that... Which is to say that it's exactly what I have in mind.

Ah, but would you be willing to work just as hard as the rest? I have no doubt in your experience, but many men consider it bad luck to have a woman on board.

It's a common belief, actually, that bringing a woman aboard a ship is bad luck. Surprising how you haven't heard of it, but all things considered, I've met more oblivious men than yourself.

Can you hoist a sail, love?

Just the river, but I'd consider it well enough under the assumption that we build a narrower ship. What do you say to that?

Oh~ An' then there's always the assumption the river can end at a lake or ocean or something.

Exactly my thoughts. When acting under that assumption, I see no reason why I would not attempt to discover the truth of it myself.

Even a few times is better than not at all, I'll admit. Though I can't claim to have any knowledge of this 'water walking' myself.

How are you at hoisting sails? I've yet to find someone capable enough for that particular task.
