People really shouldn't tell you that they liked you after they get over you. Especially if it's a "now I'm ready to date you kind of a thing" (because I've seen quite a few good friendships go down the drain when that happened after the other person was dating someone else). If you miss the chance, things are better left unsaid... that crap just makes life more complicated.

I have lots of friends who are so much smarter than me, but surrounding myself with smart people leads to better conversation. However, there are different kinds of "smart" (though some are more mundane than others). Geez, just look at me and my boyfriend... he's like genius IQ, but I've got a lot more cultural knowledge (and common sense). :o)

Does "Be kind, rewind" apply to love as well?
