I've always had that fear that what I was experiencing wasn't real. I can remember when I was a child (or if you still consider me a child, at least younger) when I would quiz my family on whether or not I was awake. Could I feel the pinch on my arm? Could I make the creations of my mind stay? Did the things I do here actually have consequences ( Read more... )

Whatever you end up doing to define yourself...DO IT FOR Yourself and no one else...that way if it goes wrong you'll learn something and if it goes wonderfully you'll keep that with you forever..lol...and for some of us happiness if not just in physical objects and materials...or substances if you will (i.e. blood, drugs, art work...)

Well.. thanks for the... words ; ) You're right in that when defining yourself you should do it, not because of other people, but because you want to. I already knew that, but it's nice to know that someone cares heh. Happiness... that's really up to the individual I think. Possessions lead to an empty and meaningless life... I think you really have to focus on other things... nights out with friends, a shared romance, enjoying the fruits of something well earned... these kind of things are what make me happy =) But like I said, it's a fleeting thing... once these moments are gone, is it just emptiness? See, it shouldn't be....
