Jack is so definitely not the type of guy to get all philosophical with his wishes! I loved that she brought him cake at the end! (Though I imagined him as a lemon cake kinda guy!) Positively lovely!

Lemon cake? No, no, no, I feel sure Jack is like me and prefers total chocolate above all else. Though other cakes are good too, of course, and we know he loves cake. Probably any kind of cake!

Bzzzzt! In Heroes he says he likes vanilla better than chocolate. :D But I'm sure that as long as it's cake, he's happy.

Well, true, but then I didn't take any of the things he told Bregman in Heroes as truth, assuming he was jerking him around the whole time, so I figured it was all misdirection about the vanilla over chocolate (I mean, really, who could prefer vanilla over chocolate?!)

But so true that as long as there's cake, Jack's bound to be happy about it.

Oh, this was a great read. Funny and yet sweet in a friendship-y way. Early-season Sam&Jack at its best and I loved the funny lines in it (McGyver?) as well as the more serious ones, like the references to Jack having been in a war.

I like this a lot. His genie looks like Teal'c, ha! Even if Sam's the one to grant all three of his wishes.

Thank you! I just had this image of Teal'c dressed in a genie outfit the whole time I was writing and decided I had to inflict the image on Jack! :)
