Interesting
The news since the last time I updated. Here it goes. It's quite long so I used lj-cuts. If you feel obligated to view what I've done with my life for the past week, feel free to click on it. If not, then be clueless. Your choice.
THURSDAY: Math was fun. I totally powned Tyler lol. Actually not really, but I still beat him in the little game thing. Test in Bio, which I think I did well on. English was fun I guess?
FRIDAY: Money was due for choir. That's all I'm going to say. State AC DEC competition so I was excused from all of my classes. I pretty much ran around and did work. Hung out with Tyler for lunch then it was back to school at 2:15 or so to head to Skyline HS. The bus we got was so crappy lol. I'm serious. It's was a CUSD van lol. It beeped when you backed up! And the brakes were extremely bad. By the end of the night we ultimately decided that it would be safer to take our own cars for the next day. Competing was fun and I think did ok, but I'm interested in knowing my speech and interview scores.
SATURDAY: The last day of competition. Getting up at 4:30am was the goal. I got up at 5:45am lol. 2 minutes later Amanda was at my door. I got ready in 15 minutes. YAY for me! Morning was testing and then after the final event we had like 3 hours of free time so it was off to Superstition Springs Mall! Amanda, Val, and myself got our hair done and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We were late to the dinner (darn hair problems), but Haws wasn't mad because we were just eating. Then it was the awards. Iris and Amanda received medals so that was good. Overall it was a good night and I'm totally gonna miss competing in AC DEC. That was my 10th and last competition. WOW That's a lot lol.
SUNDAY: I went to the Ostrich Festival. Very much fun. I rode the Ferris Wheel! I love them things. And I saw ostriches, emus, camels, apacas, and a llama for the first time lol. It was very exciting.
MONDAY: I hung out with Tyler and Squirrel for the first part of the day. We went to Ultimate Electronics, then Fry's Electronics. Then back to Squirrel's house. We all took turns getting into Squirrels trunk (he has a camaro btw). It was funny. Then Squirrel and I got into Tyler's trunk (he drives an ultima btw). WOW we are such dorks. Then Tyler and I went back to his house and just chilled. Then I had to go back home and make dinner and do chores and all that crap. I got a new bathing suit for our little vacation to San Diego, which is totally awesome. At about 8pm I went back to Tyler's house and we chilled again. The night was filled with pink playing cards, Need for Speed Underground, his smelly brother, Peanut Butter Cup ice cream, Nashville Star, drumsticks, rock videos, and this tyte show, that I just found out existed, Trigun. At about midnight I headed back home.
TUESDAY: I was lazy. I finished the DC list and updated all of the accounts. Finished laundry and did a little bit more on my scholarship stuff. For the most part it was a very slow day, but it was relaxing, and that's all that matters.
TODAY: So I had to wake up at 7am this morning after going to bed at like 2am. Maybe I shouldn't spend so much time talking to Tyler on the phone. Then again I can't sleep anyway (which is why I didn't get to bed until 2) so I figure I might as well be productive? Whatever works right? Besides he surprised me, after he got off work, with this a cute stuffed PEEP! It's so cute because it's pink and it's the bunny! It made me so happy, and it's so soft. Anyway.So yeah waking up at 7am was hard but I did it yay! I went to the DMV with my bro and dad because my bro had to retake the permit test and ironically I had to renew my permit. I know I still haven't got my license yet, and I should get it. YES I'm a slacker, but get over it because I have lol. The good news is that I didn't have to retake the test because I renewed it before it expired. And I was not in the test taking mood at 8am either so that made me happy. My bro passed this time and we both got a permit pics taken. Well I got a new pic because I wasn't too excited about my old one. BUT they messed up my bros and put that he was a female lol. Poor kid, but we got it fixed so it's all good.
When I got home, I ate 4 waffles and had a nice cup of coffee. It was very nice and I can't remember the last time I had breakfast so it was relaxing. I took a nap from 11-11:50 when I was woken up by Marie and her crazy loud pot dropping fiasco. Finally at 4 I checked the mail to receive yet again another disappointing letter. Unfortunately, I was not accepted into UCLA, but I'm still waiting for a letter or something from UC Berkeley. It doesn't look hopeful though. Oh well I guess. I probably couldn't afford it anyway so I guess it's all for the better.
If any of you read that entire thing without falling asleep, I congratulate you. I'll try to post more often in the future so I don't end up having these massively long entries. But for now buh bye!
