Are you trying to make it to New York? If so, I do feel obliged to inform you that, in my circle of friends, that quest is quite unoriginal.

No, I'm not actually trying to. It's always been an idea that circulated in the back of my mind, though, and the near ubiquity of the quest among your circle of friends has inspired further reflection upon it. I've never even been able to visit the city. In actual fact, it's much more likely that I will succeed in making it to Nebraska.
