If the luck of the Irish is real, I think it should have precluded any potential potato famine.

Its just people abusing language for their own sick capitalistic gains.

They abuse the word "essential" and the words "digitally remastered".

Digitally remastered is sort of like the curretn equivalent of "New and Improved". Either a product is new, or it is improved, but it can't be both new and improved, but since its a catchy phrase it got plastered on everything. Same with digitally remastered.

and I'm pretty sure that the stabbing westward stuff wasn't even mastered, let alone remastered.

I've always wondered what percentage of people who buy CDs because they're "digitally remastered" actually know what "mastering" a recording is. There's probably a significant percentage who don't even know what the "digitally" means.
