School is back in session and 40,000 university students have flooded the downtown area, making traffic a veritable nightmare of congestion and jaywalkers.  As I drove through the mess with a sixty-something gentleman in the taxi, he got quiet and began to stare out the window

Hi jackstaxi - I'm friends with Jackie from way back in her sordid past . . . I just wanted to comment: September and June at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst is lovingly referred to (by older graduate student boys) as breast awareness month(s). This is my boyfriend, jackshoegazer! :) I wasn't sure if you knew. He started driving cab this last spring because he's back to school as a "non-traditional" student at the community college here in Madison. He has a twelve year old. He's pretty nifty. :)
