How diverse would you say your cab fares are? Do you get a good mix? For some reason, I don't ever remember hearing about Latino passengers, for example. Or Norwegians, or people from Fiji.

It's about 65/25/5/5 white/black/hispanic/asian with a 5% margin of error for the occasional Russian or German or French.

Sometimes I don't understand people in my race. I know, generally, we go for the intimidation factor (for no reason at all), but many times, it's so over-the-top, a cliched talk show theme song is needed.

I actually had some people in the cab a couple weeks ago talking about how they got paid to go on Maury and how awesome it was and how they were planning to do it again :P

one time i ditched fare. do people ever ditch fare? it seems so easy. but i guess when you get older you start to appreciate the fact that other peoples incomes depend on you and you become less of an asshole. still, one time i ditched fare.
