DUMBLEDORE IS GAY.

This news report says "the rumors are true." Excuse me? What rumors? 0_o I have never ever wondered about Dumbledore's sexuality, nor have I ever read any fan speculation on this subject. Haha I saw your post like right after mine. XD It is SO RANDOM. Like his sexuality had nothing to do with his personality, as weird as that sounds. I still don't read him differently. I don't see his words or actions as suddenly gay now. (Although the cute background ship of Dumbledore/McGonagall is no more.) His being gay is just like an extra FYI, like "by the way, he's a gemini" or something RANDOM like that. XD

"Oh the fanfiction" indeed! It's no longer slash if the character really is gay, right? (But then again, we don't know any other gay characters, so would that be half-slash? @_@)

Like I said in the above comments, it's so freakin random. It's a Dumbledore factoid, not really important to the story. Heck, it doesn't really change his personality all that much either, does it? I still see my Dumbledore, and I love him. *huggles* ^_^

Agree with everything you said. JKR has increased her standing even more, in my eyes, for several reasons I won't ramble about here.

Funny, a lot of people had Lupin pegged as being gay before the Tonks/Lupin came out for sure in HBP.

Hehe, that's true. Sirius/Lupin is one of the biggest ships. Now there's some possible subtext that wouldn't have been so "Where the heck did that come from?" Remus is so sweet and humble and sensitive. <3
