So yesterday I visited my family. I surprised my mom at work and she gave me a hug and it was really sincere and made me feel good. I also got around town to see my uncle and grandfather, which was nice. Much as I do enjoy living on my own, it's nice to go home and visit from time to time. It's also good to be reminded that people still think

hey, don't start that "lady" business with me, y'hear? i checked both, and will be consolidating my replies into a letter. well, i think i will be, as long as i don't get too chatty and write an email back before the letter gets there.

and yes, i'll try to get doug to be unwimpy...probably with questionable success. but he'll make up for it by being an exciting companion for all the other outdoor activities i want to do.

I can't wait until next week, either! :) It's gonna be soooooo fun! I hope I can stay in the ocean as long as you want to. But I'm afraid that I'm a wimp, too. A water wimp, anyway. I think I may love playing in the sand as much as you love playing in the water. (Does that mean I'll be spending a lot of time with Skyler? :-P ) Maybe we can work out a compromise. :)
