(On an almost related note, I was amused to notice a certain comic book character rendered as "An Splainc" as Gaeilge. Perfectly logical and reasonable, but amusing)

Just saw on the news that Garage directed by Lenny Abrahamson has picked up a gong at Cannes.

I haven't seen the film, and I didn't know him well, but I did know Lenny to say hello to back in the day -and in those days it was Leonard - and I am delira to hear the news. Definitely one of the good guys.
