Jacqueline that was such an awesome write-up, you have no idea. I don't really know what to say because I'm at such a loss for words right now except, praise God for your openness, not just in your candidness in sharing but also in your allowance of God to work in you and change you so powerfully and poignantly. I can't even imagine what the trip would have been like without you.
As Michael stated above, I don't know what YUGO would have been like without you. I know this trip was extremely hard for you and I'm so proud of you. Proud that you went and proud that you allowed yourself to stay open to what God wanted to tell you. You know I be hurr for you anywhere, anytime.
Oh... wow. I can't tell you how weird that whole post made me feel.
I'm jealous.
And I'm not going to pretend like I know half of what you were going through, but honestly, you going on this trip is I guess exactly what you needed to do.
Thank you for telling me about the incident (assuming that incident is the one you're talking about). And sharing with us what happened in YUGO (plus even though I know I seem anti-religion and whatnot, I actually used to be really faithful to God. Or at least agnostic to a creepishly extreme degree).
I hope one day I'll find my own YUGO :)
But man! I feel like such an ass having asked you about the most trivial thing you could've gained from the whole trip >(
asdfghjklasdfghjkl; i wrote this whole big thing and then i accidently pressed Back and i lost it all :[ but no worries! i have the whole night imma write it againn haha: okay so
dude i love you, jaqueline. thats the most down-to-earth honest post i have ever read. and i dont exactly know what the incident was..or what you went through, but i was reading a book today that albert gave me and maybe this will encourage you a lil:
When our hearts are hurting and starving to be comforted, He will be most vivid in our experience, if we allow Him. When we are backed into a corner and He is our only way out, we enter into a sweet fellowship with Him in our struggle. Jesus is our Prrotector and our Rescuer-the Man who went before us and gave everything for love is near to us and intimately knows our pain. During our darkest, hardest times, when most people draw away from us, He draws closer. He holds our hand, not as one who strives in vain to understand, but as one who has truly been there and who walks through each moment with us.God uses
