For 6 whole days, Yesung was assigned to monitor and take care of Kangin. Each and every member will have his turn.

At the first two days, Kangin actually made a lot friendly and long conversations wit Yesung. He actually thought that this idea wasn’t all that bad.

The third day, Yesung was sharing to Kangin that he was missing a particular someone. Yesung began to mumble stuff about he and his special someone share this unique bond. And he goes on and on and on. Fortunately, Kangin somehow became understanding and continued to listen, knowing very well that Yesung loved the said person very very much.

On the fourth day, Kangin wanted to spend the day outside and eat. He invited Yesung and he gladly agreed. Before leaving the dorms, Yesung went back to his room, saying he forgot something very important. Or was it someone? Yesung went back to Kangin in a jiff, holding a small cage, with what seemed like his pet turtle inside.

Oh, great. He brought Ddangkoma with him. Kangin thought.

The only thing he could do now is give a fake smile to Yesung, mentally face palm, and wordlessly face the humiliation. While they were eating, Yesung kept on blabbering random stuff. Kangin didn’t even know, can’t differentiate, if Yesung was talking to him or to the reptile in hand.

Their fifth day was plain awkward. Solely because last night, after they returned to the dorms, Kangin made himself comfortable on the couch and eventually fell asleep. During the wee ours of that night, he woke up with hot air caressing his face and something pressing on his upper lip. He opened his eyes and saw Yesung intensely staring at him. And yes, touching his philtrum. He got cranky and told Yesung to stay the hell off away from him.

Kangin ate his brunch in silence, trying hard not to look irritated and guilty at the same time, all because of Yesung. The words, sentences, and maybe already a speech, Yesung was giving him was already a blur. He really wished that Yesung would shut it, even for a short while. He wonders how the other man speaks to him so casually like nothing happened the past night.

Their last day together, Yesung told Kangin that Ddangkoming has a fever and was shaking inside his shell. Kangin didn’t know whether Yesung was just joking, or being serious. And was it even possible in the first place?

Before Yesung left for the ‘doctor’, Yesung told Kangin to stay put and not do anything until he goes back. Kangin had enough of Yesung’s ramblings and reminders. But the thing that tipped off the iceberg was when Yesung, Ddangkoming in hand, leaned in and kissed Kangin on the cheek.

Kangin was shocked and he froze.

Only going back to reality when Yesung said that he should give Ddangkoming a good bye and take care, kiss. He didn’t know why but his fist made contact with Yesung’s jaw and he was sitting on the floor.

The impact was strong and he knew Yesung was already seeing stars. Literally. ‘Kanginnie, look! The North Star! Pretty~’
And Kangin knew he was again, in trouble. Obviously.
