sooper-quick bra review

So while I was pregnant, the Freya Millie -- my go-to workhorse daily wear bra when NOT pregnant -- was discontinued. I've been questing after a replacement, reading every large-cup bra review site there is, poking around in Bratabase, analyzing what did and didn't work for me about the Millie's fit and shape...yeah, it's a project, when your ( Read more... )

It's difficult (as someone who currently wears a 34B) not to be in awe of your bod. Sorry. :D

Good luck with the bras. I can definitely sympathize with that part.

I feel like there ought to be some kind of breast-transfer device, for ladies to give unwanted cup sizes to ladies who wish they had more cup sizes.

That would be nifty! Although, honestly, I don't often wish that. My sympathies are very strong with my lady friends who have to carry that around all the time.

With a properly-fitting bra, it's a good bit less annoying than one might expect; there are still all kinds of clothing fit issues, but if the bra is solved SO MANY things are better. Unfortunately, the US bra market is, um. Bad. So, so, so bad. The available sizes most places are extremely limited (especially in cup size), so many women are in the wrong sizes -- which causes all kinds of problems, up to & including intense back pain that a lot of people correct with surgery.

To take your size as an example, there are lots of women roaming the US in 34B bras who really need a 30D or 28DD, and cannot find that bra, and so their shoulders hurt and their bands chafe and they feel weirdly unsupported and they get little rolls of breast tissue in their armpits.

It's not a good scene.

Urgh, I need to go bra shopping, but have been avoiding it so far, even though the elastics of my fitting bras have become worn out. My size isn't too bad, 34E in US sizes (I think), but so many non-specialized stores with the cheaper bras stop their cup sizes just before that. It's annoying.

bra shopping is the worst, ugh. I can't avoid it too long, because of my size -- I end up VERY unhappy. :/
