I can't believe that I am writing any of this. It feels so unreal, as if I am walking through some kind of bad and confusing dream, going through the motions, dazed and shocky, unable to function properly, slow and thick as if I am moving through honey or molasses.

I know this feeling all too well.

My condolances on losing your mom, Jacqui. I hope your beau's able to give you enough grounding in this world to make compensating / coping a possibility: please give him a kiss on my behalf and thank him for putting up with you through all this.

And my apologies if I've not grasped that Jacqui hasn't got a beau at present. Also, please ask a friend or friends if they can cope with you through this trauma.
