When she smiles, she doesn't look at him. Her head tilts halfway up, but her eyes are still down on the table. Ohno watches, wondering if she sees that he's smiling too.
"Ryoko-chan," he says and Ryoko lifts her head. Her smile is stronger when it's face on.
"I'm glad you came by." She tucks a strand of hair behind her ear and averts her eye again, this time focusing on the cup of coffee in front of her. Her hands encircle the mug.
Ohno's eyes close and he wraps his hands around his own mug and brings it to his lips, taking a second to blow faintly on it before taking a sip. When he opens his eyes again, Ryoko is watching him.
"Is it good?" she asks.
He just nods, putting the mug down. "Thanks for the suggestion."
She smiles again, head atilt and eyes back on her cup. "I'm glad you liked."
Cafe Mocha"I didn't realize you liked coffee so much, Ohno-kun ( ... )

He's running late and the only reason he orders the black coffee is because he can't remember any of the names Ryoko had taught him.
"Ohno-kun!" Ryoko taps him on the shoulder. When he turns, the coffee spills out of the little hole of the lid. "Be careful with that," she says with a laugh. "In a bit of a rush?"
"A little." Ohno slurps up the spilled coffee before taking a sip. The face he makes must look terrible because Ryoko laughs; she covers her mouth with her hand again which only makes Ohno notice more how her eyes sparkle.
"Bitter?" As she asks this, her own drink finally comes and she reaches over to take it from the barista.
"Strong," Ohno manages, as he tries to feel his tongue again from the heat.
Ryoko laughs and hands him her coffee cup. "Take a sip."
Out of instinct, he takes a sip. Until he realizes that he's drinking from Ryoko's cup and have they reached the sharing portion of their friendship? "It's sweet," he says, watching her as she takes the cup back and sips from it. Ohno swears ( ... )
