this is so so so gorgeous. But THIS:

This is wonderful. It's not just Peeta/Finnick but a whole Finnick-Peeta-Katniss-Annie mess and it's glorious! I have found, through your fic, that I can probably ship Finnick and Peeta and their big old broken, fucked up hearts, full with too much love, with pretty much anyone. And especially with each other.

The heat, the jungle, that night, knowing what's about to happen all add to the desperation of it all. Amazing.

It is a mess of those four, for sure! I feel like everyone's so fucking lost (how could they not be?) so it's okay to just throw them all together in a hazy web of mixed emotions, ha.
