Oh my god. This was so, so beautiful. I'd never thought of looking at the Charles/Erik relationship through Emma's eyes before, but I love the contrast you've created between distancing herself and wanting to be so much closer to Erik, how his time with Charles affects her.

My favorite part was when Erik scrambles for his helmet in the morning, "before he could change his mind." So heartbreaking.

Thanks! I actually love Emma in theory (not the J.Jones version) but I think that Emma and Erik are so obviously terrible for each other that I find it kind of tragic and romantic? Plus, they look so pretty together. Did you ever read as far as tales go?

Yeah, I wasn't such a huge fan of the J.Jones version myself, but that could just be because ever since J.Jones painfully awkward stint hosting SNL I don't really like her? Ah, well. LOL, they are kind of terrible for each other, and leave it to people like us to start shipping it because of that. And yeah, they're both ridiculously attractive.
