I haven't been following One More Day, but isn't part of the basic premise that the devil's bargain means Pete and MJ never marry? Kind of hard to have an unborn child if they never hook up.

"Unborn" in this case means "the one she's secretly pregnant with when they make the deal, who manifests as a vision before them after they accept."
