/start of nonsense ramblings
- · There are no female genders in the planet from where the aliens came from.
- · From the time of birth, someone is already destined to be their lifelong partner and they usually starts finding that special one once they reached the age of 300 (no, really!)
- · Since all of them are technically created as males, the capability to reproduce is considered as one unique characteristic; thus, those who possessed such capability are often being sought after. (Like idols, can you imagine that? XD) But since all of them are created with a “soul mate” each of them are bound to find anyway, the idea of pursuing someone is actually pretty stupid /snort
- · From the beginning, Blue supposed his destined partner was Gold, not Yellow. *snickers*
- · They have real names. (don’t tell me you didn’t see this one coming?)
- · They are not allowed to leave their planet without the permission of both their ‘fathers’.
- · Like most alien stories, these aliens could live for a thousand, even a million years depending on their decision whether they already want to die or not.
- · They also have powers (ohgod, why didn’t I think about this before?) only they weren’t able to use it on Earth, (because they didn’t think it was necessary?) Let me clear this up in my head first, lol.
- · Yes, I’m hungry and no, I’m not insane :D (and this fic looked actually a lot better in my head than in MS Word, kekekeke)

Blue woke up to the sound of a gentle humming and for a moment, he thought it was Yellow’s voice only to realize later on that it wasn’t. He stirred and that was when he realized that he was lying down on something soft and comfortable, opening his eyes a little bit to the darkness that still loomed over him just as the humming stopped and the awkward silence stayed on.
He wished there was some way he could be able teleport himself from here to the human’s place but he couldn’t remember exactly where the place was and even if he could, he didn’t want to end up appearing in a stranger’s place which would probably make the situation worse than it already was.
The problem was, he didn’t even have enough strength to make it to the door and he was pretty sure that the other creature was well aware about that fact; he’s clever and looked painfully a lot like Yellow but their similarities ended at the physical and Blue had the opportunity to find out that truth at the same time he met Yellow.
He knew this wasn’t his Yellow, because no matter how cruel Yellow sometimes was with him, he knew it was always for play and Yellow always hugged and kissed him afterwards as his means of apology.
He still felt scared but the sickening feeling of knowing there’s someone waiting for him to come home, and probably worrying himself silly because of him only added to that miserable feeling he didn’t really know how to handle.
“I’m sorry,” he heard him say quietly over the stilled silence and Blue tightly shut his eyes, breathing in deep before slowly pulling himself up into a sitting position. Tugging his knees closer to his chest, he gently shook his head and stared into the direction where he could feel the other alien’s presence, the feeling of missing Yellow so much suddenly became a bit more unbearable.
“Does your fathers know you are here?” he found himself asking, his voice a bit shaky and unsure, simply because he still didn’t know if he was allowed to ask the other without getting hit repeatedly by his golden whip. Well, he thought it was a normal thing to ask, since no one was allowed to leave their planet without the permission of their fathers and finding him here, now - “You didn’t runaway, did you?” he followed hesitantly and felt, rather than heard the other’s almost imperceptible reply.
He didn’t know if he was ready to know the other’s reason for running away though, and for the life of him, he wished that for once, it wasn’t because of him and Yellow.
“Would it change anything if I say that I did?” the other asked in a surprisingly hesitant tone; Blue didn’t know if it’s something the other was doing if only to make him believe, but still -
“Yuuri,” he called the other’s name, his tone almost begging as he heard the other sucked in a sharp breath. But Blue knew him well enough to interpret that, just as well as he knew how to interpret Yellow’s odd mannerisms, and the twin’s ability to mimic each other perfectly. “Y-You have to let me go,” Blue quietly begged, letting the quiver in his voice matched the sadness of his soul. “ - your brother, he’s probably worried and I -“
“No,” was the other’s firm answer, and Blue couldn’t help the miserable feeling settling over his entire body just as the other slowly emerged from the shadows. His golden eyes glistened like pools of golden fires in the dark and Blue was sure they were staring deep into his soul, reading his mind as he froze still. “We are going to stay here until my brother stops looking for you and then we will go to the nearest neighboring planet and stay there for the rest of our lives. Or you can make things easier by choosing me, then we’ll go and meet him and you will tell him that you don’t want him anymore, and then the three of us will go back to how it was before and pretend none of these ever happened.”
Blue let out a bitter laugh, shaking his head again. “But you know that it’s impossible,” he quickly retorted, “You know I was meant for your brother and him for me since the very beginning. It is how it always has been. I’m sorry.”
“It’s not,” was Gold’s quick answer, “ - It was supposed to be me,” he said, “ - I found you first, so it’s just right for me to keep you for myself. Yuuji wasn’t supposed to meet you, the same way you weren’t supposed to meet him, if only I had known sooner about the damn writings, I would have done something to prevent you from meeting each other!” the other croaked after a few moments and Blue stilled in place, the pain on the other’s voice seemed to find its way through his heart as he slowly looked up.
Blue shook his head again and felt his eyes sting at the mention of Yellow’s real name. He couldn’t think beyond the pain and it’s unusual because it wasn’t in their nature to feel something other than what they were taught to feel but he knew it was somehow his fault why this was happening, knowing he had done nothing but to hurt Yellow’s twin brother by choosing Yellow over him.
It was true though; Blue and Gold first met each other one summer afternoon during Blue’s great-grandfather’s funeral. Blue’s grandfathers and his fathers were busy mourning about their parent’s death and though it was also kind of saddening to see the passing of someone close to him, it was still his great-grandfather’s choice in the end.
Gold came with his fathers to pay their last respects and the two of them instantly became friends; they started hanging out during the day when the sun was at its highest, dreaming about leaving their planet and going to the other planets just because they thought it would be fun to travel the universe and just come back when they felt like it.
The night Blue turned three hundred years old, the description of Blue’s other half appeared as a form of ancient writings all over his ass. The description fitted perfectly to Gold’s, and his fathers had told him that if it were true and if Gold really was his destined companion, the writings will explode (literally) in little silver lights the minute their hands touched.
That same night, Blue and Gold agreed to meet at the same place where they first met; it was kind of surreal because Blue had known even then that Gold had silently wanted him ever since the two of them met and he thought that it was probably the best way to find out whether the writings were true.
When he arrived at their meeting place, he saw Gold sitting at the top of a huge rock, with his tiny hands under his chin and looking at the horizon with a thoughtful look on his face. He was immediately struck with the desire to touch Gold’s hands especially when Gold turned to him and smiled shyly, jumping down from the rock and staring at him.
He noticed then that the color of his eyes weren’t what they usually were.
It’s so nice to finally meet you - Gold had said then and Blue stared confused back at him; he didn’t understand what Gold was talking about but then he was again rendered speechless when Gold let out a laugh and waved his hand in front of Blue’s face. Oh, sorry, so that expression clearly means that my brother never told you about me, that stupid Yuuri. Anyway, I’m Yuuji - Yuuri’s twin brother.
Yuuri held out his hand then and quickly grabbed Blue’s hand.
Then his ass exploded. Literally.

“So, you’re saying you have a twin brother,” Jun asked, the corners of his lips twitching in a way that couldn’t be considered happy; Yellow nodded thoughtfully just as Aiba and Sho turned to each other to exchange confused glances.
“ - an evil twin brother who looks exactly like you and was the reason why you and Ohchan ran away together until you two ended up in here,” Jun followed grimly, backing away.
Nino nodded. “He couldn’t accept the fact that Taaka chose me over him,” he said, “He always wanted Taaka and it didn’t matter to him then whether we were made for each other… he just wanted him for himself and that he’s known him first…”
“But you said you and Ohchan were made for each other, why can’t your brother understand that? Surely, there is someone specifically made for him too, right?” Aiba wondered out loud.
“I didn’t know aliens have human tendencies too, especially when it comes to love…” Sho mused.
Jun shook his head in disbelief. “But isn’t it too impossible to assume that Nino’s twin will come here just to take revenge and well, to kidnap Ohchan?”
Nino stood up, swiping at his face with his tiny hands before looking up at Jun; Jun knew that it wouldn’t take long before the tiny alien eventually told them that -
“He’s here, I can feel him,” Nino said in his alien-accented Japanese, hugging his shivering, tiny self; Jun groaned and let himself dropped down on Sho and Aiba’s couch.
Sho looked just about ready to cry. “S-So, does this mean we’re about to be invaded by tiny, yellow aliens who looked like Nino?”
Jun grunted just as Aiba threw himself in front of Sho’s laptop, his tongue hanging at the corners of his mouth as he started typing something.
“What the hell are you doing, Masaki?” Jun growled, reaching over to take Nino from the edge of the table and placed the still sulking alien on top of his lap.
Aiba spared them a glance before he returned his attention to Sho’s laptop.
“Trying to find out how we could contact the Men In Black or Gantz to help us with our little alien problem!”
The only thing Jun and Sho could do was groan.
