I am so frustrated! Livejournal made a whole bunch of changes and I was trying to change my layout for the first time in a long time and I changed all the colors and THOUGHT I'd changed the banner but NO. Apparently there's a new place to change the banner and I can't figure it out. So now my journal is all f-ed up. Bright blue banner with

I don't know where you've changed it, so I'll just tell you where I would change it.

Go here, customize style. Scroll down to 'Image'. Add the link to your banner into the box of 'Background image URL'.

Or, go to Custom CSS. In the big box, 'Custom stylesheet', enter the following:

.headerimage {
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-image: url(http://i5.photobucket.com/header.png);
width: 0;
height: 0;
}

Hope one of the options fixes it. If not, I'll try to find something else.

Yeah see I don't know where I changed it either because everything is different now. I used to have a paid account and now I don't but apparently I can still use Component.. but I can't change my header and it's really frustrating! I changed it in both those places and it's still wrong. >:o

Maybe where it changed depends on the type of layout you have. I've never used Component myself. Or maybe it has something to do with the paid account that I've never had either. Sorry I couldn't help out. :(

The only other thing I can come up with right now is that you check out one of these help communities, see if you can find anything there. component_help, s2styles
