A few weeks ago I discovered Konad, and ever since I've been really into doing my nails. Konad is for diy nail stamping using etched image plates. Swipe some polish on the image you want, scrape off the excess, pick up the image with the special stamp and deposit it on your nail. Easy peasy! First Ren Faire visit of the season today! Warm, but nice weather, and nice intermittent cloud cover that helped with the heat. Finished my new shirt last night so I had my off-white shirt with the very short sleeves to wear. Quite happy with it. Kind of wish I had worn my black shirt, but I had my newish yellow skirt and really wanted to wear it. ( Read more... ) -

This thing is kinda fun. Also, I'm consistent! I started with the little Suri/Natira snippet and came up with Margaret Mitchell (author of Gone With the Wind). Then I tried each chapter of the ongoing Tary story individually and came up with Robert Louis Stevenson (author of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, Treasure Island) every time. Wow, I didn't realize it had taken me almost two months to get off my ass and type this. Good job, me. This is probably my favorite chapter so far. I have the next two written (5 is short, 6 is long), and am working on 7. I'm a little stuck and typing these is unbelievably dull, but I'll try not to take 2 months next time.
