Ohhh here I am.... (drawing update)

Update from me and I'm back at the drawing table...FINALLY!

I'm just at a never ending battle to get things done! However...I am getting them done. I had also been contemplating on whether I should pay for another year of LJ but I'm thinking I'm going to need to since I will be having my trip to Vancouver, Canada in August this year. I plan to do a daily update on what we're doing. The plan? EVERYTHING. Or as much of everything as possible. The end of the trip will be the Supernatural Convention. I am getting some pointers/tips on how to make videos and the like. I bought myself a new camera. This baby is loaded and I intend to use it *smirk*

As I get my new place together, I finally have the room and privacy to work on my drawings and I have been on a roll.

Drawing #1 - A little story behind it. One of my co-workers has a daughter who was diagnosed with cancer (in the bone) last year. She fought it and won and is in remission now. She loves butterflies and so I took it upon myself to make this for her. She is also an artist and apparently she takes what I have to say about drawing to heart. Bless her.

Drawing #2 - I had been going through my archives and I could have SWORN I had shown this drawing already. It was my first Supernatural drawing. I am working on new pieces but I thought I would look back on my first one I did (because the original went to Anja) and I couldn't find it here. Weird! So I'm just going to repost it for the hell of it.

I'll update with the next piece sometime this week. It's a new Iron Man 2 drawing for a friend of mine. He's a huge comic fan and looking forward to the new film.

For those who had remembered my story about my cousin who had twins and one died due to anencephaly, I now update you with the survivor and he's growing big and fast. It's amazing how small he used to be and how much he has caught up...

And a funny story the other day (wasn't funny at the time). I woke up to finding that my glasses were missing off of my dresser. I tore apart the place for 45 minutes trying to find them. I finally found them where? In between the cushions of my day bed. How in the...??? It finally dawned on me that there would be only two culprits savvy enough to pull this stunt...

CULPRIT A

CULPRIT B

In conclusion: I believe that Culprit B was the mastermind to this operation as she had once clepto'd almost all of the bulbs off the Christmas Tree year before last. Culprit B is merely an accomplice and was mainly there for muscle and a look out. It wasn't funny at the time but now I can laugh about it.

Sweet revenge came yesterday when I was about to take a shower and reached in to turn the knob on. Next thing I hear is something in the shower bouncing everywhere. I pull back the curtain and barely got a glance at something wet and furry run past me and out of the shower. I spent the next 10-15 minutes chasing a half wet cat around the apartment laughing my ass off.

It's days like these when you know you're living and you're living it good. :D

Signing off...

good day, art, supernatural
