CNN news storyI went down to the road that goes right next to the river near my house (down a very steep hill, so I'm dry), and the water has gone up over the rail road tracks and past the boat launch and flooded the buildings up to the roofs on the edge there and has flooded the entire road

I've been watching it like a hawk since my sister was at school doing research. She's been evacuated now, which is good, but ;_; It's good you're on a hill!!

Where's she doing research at?

yeah, it pretty much sucks for just about anywhere else, though :\ One of my friends is on a hill, but the avenue that her street connects to is flooded, and she doesn't have a second outlet, so she's trapped there.
