i know how you feel. :( *hug*

do you know if the cities and/or state have a site with directions for people who want to volunteer? I'm out at North Liberty now and I'd like to go in but the UI is putting up stuff saying not to clog up traffic into downtown :S

Well I'm watching the news right now and they're saying that they want people to help sandbag down by Lindquist. you're probably stuck where you are because they've shut down 380 between milemarkers 4 and 10 (which is right at the North Liberty exit, I think). I know that there's a way to get to 80 from North Liberty without going on the highway, but I'm not really familiar with the area to tell you exactly. Although you'd have to go a long way around to get there, since all of the most direct ways are closed off :< It might be hard to get in if you're not already in.

Getting into town hasn't been a problem, I just came down on that Hwy 395 or whatever it is that goes down by the Walmart and Gordman's. I'm at my church now--I just don't know where to report from here lol.

Go down to Lindquist! I'm watching the sandbagging effort live on my TV right now, and like I said just a while ago they were asking for volunteers again (though there are a lot of people).
