*hugs* I can honestly say that 15 years ago I would have been against gay marriage. But because of knowing real live gay people, I have changed my opinion so much that I actively argue for gay marriage. It is 100% true that putting a face on an issue really brings it home.

My state doesn't have any propositions on the table, but I know I'm voting for pro-gay-marriage candidates on all levels this year.

this is why putting faces is important. it's easy to hate, dislike or just not accept a concept. but when you know ppl, it's different
